Free Swedish to English translation widget
If you need to make regular Swedish to English translations then you've probably either been using Google or the Language Council of Sweden website.
Fortunately, the Language Council has a handy widget that does the translations without you even having to even open a browser. Lexikon Widget is a small tool that translates Swedish to English and vice versa in just a few clicks. You can also choose to just look up the Swedish dictionary definition of a particular word.
In the preferences, you can tweak Lexikon Widget a little by selecting whether to show the Lexicon Category, Expand Verbs and Adjectives and whether show Plurals. The interface is clean and simple, look-ups are very quick and it's easy to use. The only drawback is that you can't cut and paste words or long passages of text into it.
If you regularly work between Swedish and English then Lexicon Widget is an essential tool.
